PAN is a nonprofit organization established in 1993 by Me Julien Mackay and Me André Auclair, notaries, eager to offer to Quebec notaries quick and confidential access to consultation services with mental health professionals, similar to assistance programs available in large organizations. Year after year, the program has grown and continues to evolve to this day.

It now offers a wider range of services, always adapted to today’s reality, including coaching and an online platform with several resources.

All Quebec notaries are automatically registered with PAN, as well as their immediate family (partners and dependants). In view of the increased demand for health and wellness services, the program is now open to employees of firms that have signed up with the Employees Assistance Program (EAP) for notarial firms, for a nominal annual sign-up fee.

Eager to ensure the quality and confidentiality of its services, all of the requests are completely handled by professionals from Homewood Health group, in a courteous and independent manner.

PAN also organizes events (Les Rassemblements du PAN) to promote wellness and its representatives attend professional notarial events, as well as offering conferences and training.  Look for us in the Chambre des notaires newsletter.
